Physical Education

The Physical Education department welcomes the Class of 2021 to Piedmont Hills High School.  Our Physical Education program at Piedmont Hills promotes a healthy, active lifestyle by providing our students with state recommended physical activity, increasing student’s fitness levels, and teaching generalized movement and behavioral skills.

Students must wear appropriate attire to fully participate in the Physical Education program. For your convenience, students may purchase appropriate attire for Physical Education at the school bank on August 2nd during freshman orientation. Students will take the receipt to a Physical Education teacher during their PE period to receive his/her clothes once school begins.  The cost of the clothing is as follows:

T-shirt

$12

Shorts

$13

Hooded sweat shirt

$30

Sweat pants

$20

If payment is made by personal check, please make sure the student’s ID number is printed on the bottom left hand corner of the check with the check being written to “Piedmont Hill High School”.

Padlocks are issued by the PE staff and are expected to be returned at the end of the year. Students will be charged $10 for lost or damaged locks. We do not allow students to bring their own padlock for use.  We use Master Padlocks and have combinations to all padlocks in case of an emergency situation.  Locker room security is of utmost importance to our staff and we assign a specific locker and padlock to our students.
