AP Information

Signing up for AP Exams (2016-2017 school year)

AP Exam sign up window for 2016-17 school year: 3/1/17 to 3/17/17.

 

Exams cost: $93.

 

Fee Waivers: You can obtain a fee reduction if you qualify for Medi-Cal or free/reduced lunch (please have verification ready).  Reduced cost exams are $5.

 

You will need to print out a sign up sheet and also obtain exam labels from your teachers prior to purchasing the exam(s).

AP Night

All students who are interested in taking an AP course next year must attend AP Night.  AP Night will take place on Thursday 1/26/17 this year (Location: Theater)

 

Please note the following important information:

  • You will need to bring a completed and signed AP Time Management Planner worksheet as your entrance ticket to AP Night (see section directly below titled "AP Course Information & Time Management" for instructions).

 

  • Students must bring only ONE parent/guardian to AP Night -- due to the high number of student interest in taking AP courses, we do not have capacity to host more than one parent/guardian with each student.

 

  • Please note the following designated time to arrive to AP Night (please be on time and attend the correct session based on student's last name):

Please read this information carefully as there is a document (AP Time Management Planner) that you will need to bring as an entrance ticket to AP Night on 1/26/2017, which is mandatory in order to sign up for AP courses.

 

Below is a list of AP courses that are offered at Piedmont Hills.  Students who are interested in taking an AP course are expected to review the course by clicking on the course name below.  Students must complete a time management planner (also linked below) in order to sign up for AP courses.
